Skin Food is a South Korean cosmetic company. The company's products contain "food" items which are supposed to nourish the skin. Example of food extracts used in their products include avocado, peach, egg whites, rice and brown sugar.

The company does not have a presence in the United States, however, their products can be imported directly from South Korea via eBay, Amazon and other websites.

Rice Mask

The rice mask comes in a 100g container. It is used to cleanse and exfoliate skin. When used as directed, it also has a slight whitening effect.

To use the mask, you apply it to the skin after it has been cleaned. Rub in a circular motion and allow to sit for 15 minutes. After the time is up, rinse with lukewarm water.

It has the greatest effect when used 2~3 times per week.

This mask, like the rice mask, comes in a 100g pot. It contains egg whites, which are suppose to help tighten enlarged pores. It helps to cleanse the skin and remove dirt and makeup. This mask is also used to control oily skin, which helps to prevent clogged pores and breakouts.

This mask is used in the same way as the rice mask. Simply cleanse skin, apply the mask, rubbing in a circular motion, and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Use 2~3 times per week for best results.

Aloe Sun Blemish BB Cream

It is common knowledge that makeup and clog pores, make skin oily and cause breakouts. The Skin Food Aloe Sun BB cream is a product you can use to help prevent oily skin and breakouts. The product contains aloe extract, which has properties that can help soothe skin.

This product comes in a 50g tube and is used in place of a foundation. You do not need a primer with this product since bb cream is an all-in-one product. One thing to note, however, is if you have darker skin, you probably cannot use this product since it only matches fair skin tone.

The peach and green tea version is for people who want to control oil and have a matte look. The Berry Berry tea provides anti-aging benefits. The rose lemon provides moisture to dry skin. The apple cinnamon has a whitening effect. Finally, the honey black is suppose to make skin "glow."

There is a product in this line for every step of your skincare routine, including a cleanser, toner, emulsion (moisturizer), an eye cream, a smoothing coverup cream and a spot treatment. While buying the entire line may be expensive, you could start simply with the cleanser, toner and emulsion.

Tea Tree Line

The tea tree line of products has a variety of items including cleaners, emulsions, toners and spot treatments. Tea tree is a natural acne treatment, so this line is best suited for individuals with troubled skin. I have personally used the tea tree bubble cleanser before and I cannot live without it! I use it twice a day, everyday, and a bottle of it lasts me at least six months. For $10 it is a steal.
